My art is the distillation of 3 decades in the creative side of the advertising industry as a freelance artist, art director, graphic and web designer. I’ve worked with a vast array of people, media and image building challenges. These experiences and challenges define my approach to my art.
Media is fuel for my design experiments on canvas with brushes, pallet knife modeling, acrylics, oils, polymers and metals. I also design and construct the framework of solid hard woods and metal accents.
As far back as I can remember I liked drawing and painting Creativity has always been important to me and I enjoy working with my hands.
The thrust of each painting is to represent nature's most ancient and basic elements, and of humanity's interaction with the world we live in using those elements.
