Alex Fritz is a glass artist who creates fine glassware and other glass art in a process called lampworking using borosilicate glass, the same glass used for cookware and scientific glass and known for it’s strength and durability. Alex began to study the practice of glass blowing over ten years ago as an apprentice to a friend, and local glass artist in San Francisco, CA. He has adapted his style away from traditional beadwork to include an array of functional art, including wine glasses, wine bottle tops, pendants, and other glass art. Over the years Alex has gained a reputation of an artist with a creative style all his own. His customers have come to admire and expect his unique, high-end craftsmanship.
